Modify time traces activity window

Introduction

Use this window to easily assign another activity to a set of (possibly non-related) time traces.

The window will show you some characteristics about the selection of time traces you are modifying, so you can verify that you have selected the correct time traces.   When you choose the new activity and press "OK", the chosen activity will be assigned to all of the selected time traces.

How to access this window

This window will be opened when you select more than one time trace at once in the "Manage time traces" window and then click the "Modify..." button.

Available options

Label "Number of traces"
The number of time traces in the selection that will be modified.
Label "Start first time trace"
The earliest start date and time of the selection of time traces.
Label "End last time trace"
The latest end date and time of the selection of time traces.  If an open time trace is also part of the selection of time traces, then "still working" will be shown.
Label "Total time period"
The total combined time period of all time traces in the selection of time traces.
List "Used activities"
Key combination "Alt + U"
All the activities that are currently used by the selection of time traces.
Drop down list "Activity"
Key combination "Alt + A"
The new activity to use for each time trace in the selection of time traces.  Note that only enabled activities (marked with a green checkmark) can be used to book time on.
Button "OK"
Key combination "Alt + O"
Exit the window and assign the chosen activity to each time trace in the selection of time traces.
Button "Cancel"
Key "Escape"
Key combination "Alt + C"
Exit the window and discard any changes.
Key "F1"
