Choose time period window

Introduction

This window allows you to choose a time period.

You can choose the start- and end dates using the calendars, and you can use the time controls to choose the start- and end times. The buttons under the start/end inputs allow you to quickly choose commonly used time periods.

Note that the end date/time is exclusive. To e.g. choose only May 7, you select May 7, 0:00:00 as the start date/time, and May 8, 0:00:00 as the end date/time.

How to access this window

The "Choose time period" window is used by the "Generate report" window, the "Import project" window and the "Export project" window.

Available options

Label "Available time registration data": The available time registration data period in the project.
Label "Chosen time period": The chosen time period.

Section "Presets"

Presets for some frequently used time periods.

Button "Entire project" Key combination "Alt + P": Set the time period choice to the entire project's duration.
Button "This year" Key combination "Alt + Y": Set the time period choice to this year.
Button "Prev. year": Set the time period choice to the previous year.
Button "This month" Key combination "Alt + M": Set the time period choice to this month.
Button "Prev. month": Set the time period choice to the previous month.
Button "This week" Key combination "Alt + W": Set the time period choice to this week.
Button "Prev. week": Set the time period choice to the previous week.
Button "Today" Key combination "Alt + T": Set the time period choice to today.
Button "Yesterday": Set the time period choice to yesterday.
Button "This hour" Key combination "Alt + H": Set the time period choice to this hour.
Button "Prev. hour": Set the time period choice to the previous hour.

Section "Start date/time"

The start date/time of the time period. Access with the key combination "Alt + S"

Calendar: The start date of the time period. Days that are worked on are shown in bold.
Time controls: The start time of the time period. The up-down buttons next to the time fields allow you to increase and decrease the value in the selected time field. Valid input for the time fields is 0 to 23 for the hour field, and 0 to 59 for the minute and second fields.

Section "End date/time"

The end date/time of the time period. Its usage is similar to the start date/time section. Access this section with the key combination "Alt + E".

Button "OK" Key combination "Alt + O": Use the chosen time period.
